[vine-users:076765] Gnubiff のインストール:./configureのエラー

宮脇です。いつもお世話になります。
vine4.1に、メールチェックソフトGnubiffをインストールしようと思い、
以下のようにしましたが、途中でエラーが出て止まります。

[root@vine root]# tar zxvf /home/toshio/gnubiff-2.2.6.tar.gz
[root@vine root]# cd gnubiff-2.2.6
[root@vine gnubiff-2.2.6]# ./configure
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... gawk
------中略-------
checking for FAM... configure: error: Package requirements (gamin >= 0.1.0)
were  not met:

No package 'gamin' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables FAM_CFLAGS
and FAM_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.

gaminというファイルがないというメッセージかと思い、
[root@vine gnubiff-2.2.6]# rpm -qa | grep gamin とすると
gamin-0.1.8-0vl2
と出て、gaminはあるようです。ないというgaminのバージョンが、0.1.0でなけれ
ばならないのでしょうか。
こういう場合は、どうすればいいのか教えて頂けるとありがたいです。
