渡辺です。

Linux でのサウンドの設定について教えてください．

現在，サウンドドライバとして，ALSA をインストールしているのですが，alsaconf
を実行するとエラーが出力され，サウンドカードが認識されないのか，音が出力
されません．

[インストール環境]
 OS:RedHat 6.2J
 kernel:2.2.14
 sound:Cirrus Logic CS4281+CS4297A (On board)

[使用ファイル]
http://www.alsa-project.org/  から，以下のファイルをダウンロード
   alsa-driver-0.5.10b.tar.bz2
   alsa-lib-0.5.10b.tar.bz2
   alsa-utils-0.5.10.tar.bz2
   alsaconf-0.4.3b-1.noarch.rpm

1. /etc/conf.modules を mv /etc/modules.conf へリネーム
2. alsa-*-05.10 をそれぞれ展開後， ./configure & utils/buildrpm でrpm
   ファイルを作成
3. 作成したrpm ファイルを利用し，rpm -ivh でインストール
4. /usr/doc/alsa-driver-0.5.10b/snddevices を実行
5. alsaconf をrpm でインストール
6. alsaconf を実行
   → 以下のメッセージが出力される．

#カーネルの再作成は行っており，
#     Sound  --->
#の部分は全てデフォルトにしています．この手順がまずいのでしょうか？

どなたかご存知の方がいらっしゃいましたら御教授ください。
