Re: autoload scsi1 on access of /dev/sdc1


Last time I checked, doing 

alias scsi_hostadaptor aic7xxx

would do the trick.  If your primary controller is also a module, then you
need to do:

alias scsi_hostadaptor aic7xxx
pre-install aic7xxx modprobe first_module_name
