This is a plain, unfiddled-with installation straight from the > distribution rpms. kpsewhich min10.tfm returns > /usr/share/texmf/fonts/tfm/ptex/min10.tfm. Is this a bug? (0) First, try the command mktexlsr. (1) Check if kpsewhich min10.vf returns /usr/share/texmf/fonts/vf/ptex/min10.vf or not. If not, check the variable VFFONTS in /usr/share/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf. It may be VFFONTS = .;$TEXMF/fonts/vf// (2) Check the file /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/psfonts.map. It should contain entries like rml Ryumin-Light-H rmlv Ryumin-Light-V gbm GothicBBB-Medium-H gbmv GothicBBB-Medium-V PS: Obtained PS file foo.ps can be printed by Japanese PostScript printer, or GhostScript with Japanese support. -- Akira Kakuto <kakuto _at_ jcom.home.ne.jp>
