[fol] RH6.2J with ptex/dvips

Hello,

I am trying to use Japanese pLaTeX on RedHat 6.2/J, as supplied in the
packages tetex-latex-*-1.0.6-11j4.

Running platex foo works without problems, and the output previews correctly
in xdvi foo.

However, if I run dvips foo, the attached error comes out (sorry for the long
dump).  This is a plain, unfiddled-with installation straight from the
distribution rpms.  kpsewhich min10.tfm returns
/usr/share/texmf/fonts/tfm/ptex/min10.tfm.  Is this a bug?
