[fol] 起動時エラーfs type devpts not supported

木村と申します。

RedHat6.1を利用しています。
Kernelを2.2.12-20から2.2.13に上げようとしています。
新しいカーネルで立ち上げると

mounting local filesystems mount:fs type devpts not supported by kernel
---
mounting other filesystems mount:fs type devpts not supported by kernel

という２つのエラーが出ます。

どういう意味でしょうか？
また、どのようにすれば対策できるのでしょうか？
