I'm a linux user in Korea and sorry to write this message in english.
I wanted to input/output nihongo in X window, I searched internet for
the informations and got it. I could input/output nihongo in X window,
the distribution of linux is Debian 1.3(bo).
When Debian 2.0(hamm) was reinstalled, However, a problem was occured.
Output is still possible, but input impossible. What I missed?
Installed packages are as follows:
wnn 4.2-3.1
kinput2 2.0.4-1
kterm 6.2.0-12
nvi-m17n 1.79-2
libcanna1g 3.5b2-14
locale-ja 2.1.1
The wnn is started in boot time.
The commands running kterm and kinput2 are :
kterm -ls -km sjis -xim
kinput2 -wnn -jserver localhost &
After the window of kterm is displayed, kinput2 is runned.
Although the Shift + space key is pressed, I can not see
the input window. Shift + space is just only space.
But nihongo copyed with mouse can be written in command line of kterm
by paste with mouse. The only problem is Shift + space doesn't work.
Please, help me.
