Flash Linux is a complete Operating System and user environment that you
can carry in your pocket. The contents of this version are very similar
to the previous version, however the packaging is very different and
contains some nice new features.
New features
* The distribution is supplied as an ISO image (.bz2 for Linux
users, .zip for Windows users)
* The ISO is actually a Live CD which contains a USB Key install
program
* To install burn the ISO to a CD and reboot - this process works
equally well for Windows and Linux users
* The Live CD can be used to boot the key on machines which don't
support USB booting
* The Boot process supports /home on an alternative device (both
for CD and Key boot)
* The key now runs off a JFFS2 filesystem while will extend the
live of your USB key

This technology preview release is fully functional and contains the
following major components:
* Gnome 2.8 desktop
* Evolution 2.0
* Mozilla Firefox 1.0
* Gaim 1.0
* XChat 2.0
This really is a plug-and-play installation and should be capable of
auto detecting most PC hardware environments.
