On Saturday, January 25, the Montgomery Area Linux Users group (MALU)
will host the first annual Alabama Lugfest in Montgomery,Alabama. This
event brings together Linux user groups from across the state for a
day of learning, networking, and some fun. Featured speakers include
Timothy Lord of Slashdot, and Mark Spencer, developer of GAIM and
Asterisk. There will also be a hardware swap, and LugWarz games.

Regular registration ends December 15th. Late registrations will be
accepted. The Alabama Lugfest is open to the public. Everyone is
invited, and Lugs from Montgomery, Auburn, Birmingham, and Mobile will
be participating. We encourage anyone interested in Linux to attend.
