Vpncall is an extremely simple pptp (Point to Point Tunneling
Protocol) client for Linux, to be used in combination with pppd. The
very low CPU usage and small memory footprint make the program very
well fit for old hardware.
The program was developed to connect to a DSL modem through pptp.
The new version uses synchronous HDLC, eliminating the need for
checksums and reducing the CPU usage another 75%.
