Birmingham Area Linux Users [BALU] are holding a Linux Install Fest
on Saturday January 26, 2002.
Bring your computer and we will help you put Linux on it, no charge.
If you want to try Linux but don't feel comfortable
installing it, come let experienced Linux administrators
assist you, or install it for you. We will be giving
basic instruction on how to operate and use your new
Linux installation. Also, we will have Linux installed
on a few computers so you can see and test different
Linux distributions before you decide whether or not to
install it. You don't have to bring a computer if you
just have questions or want to meet other open source
advocates, just drop by. The address is:
